Shane Carpenter was an inspiration to all who were fortunate to know him and call him son, brother, teammate, coach and mentor. The Shane Carpenter Foundation was founded in his remembrance to provide support for our local community.

To empower our local youth and community to fight with heart, love & passion and to always strive for perfection.

To continue to provide support for our local community and youth wrestling programs.
Our Impact
Every dollar raised goes back into the community Shane loved — through scholarships, local Tampa wrestling, first-responder support, and the causes closest to his heart.
Scholarship Recipients
Five scholarships funded in Shane’s name, including Heart & Leadership recipients Jonathon Morrison ’25, Joseph Bartels ’24, Conner Wright & Eli Pagan ’23.
Dollars Donated
$239,882 raised in Shane’s name — nearly 40% of lifetime proceeds given back.
Community Organizations
Supporting the Warrior Health Foundation, Creekside High School, and the developmental-disabilities community.
Youth Programs
Local Tampa youth wrestling support, plus one sponsored student-athlete per year in MMA training.
First Responders
Donations equipping EMTs and emergency personnel — including South Florida first responders — to deliver life-saving care.
Veteran Support
Standing with those who served, including the Warriors Fund.
Cancer Awareness
Contributing to cancer-related causes, including the fight against stomach cancer.
