Scholarship Information

The Shane Carpenter Foundation established the Shane Carpenter Heart & Leadership Scholarship to honor Shane Carpenter’s legacy as a state champion wrestler, MMA fighter, coach, and mentor. This scholarship supports students from his high school wrestling program in pursuing higher education.

Past Event Highlights:
Over the past five years, we’ve welcomed hundreds of golfers and volunteers, partnered with 75+ community sponsors, and raised over $240,000 in Shane’s name. These efforts have funded five scholarships and countless community initiatives that bring people together through purpose and fun.

Impact to Date:
To date, we’ve proudly given back 50% of total net proceeds — a testament to the transparency and community-driven mission that fuels this foundation. We’re actively looking for more organizations to align ourselves with as we continue to grow our impact. Our contributions include our Heart & Leadership Scholarships, charitable givebacks supporting the developmental disabilities community, donations to the Warrior Health Foundation, Creekside High School, Schott Communities, first responders, and various cancer-related initiatives.

• Partnering with Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers for the 3 Club Shootout on October 3, 2026 at Jupiter Dunes
• Serving as VIP sponsors at the Tequesta Chili Cook-Off on November 14th in support of our local first responder community
• Planning our 2nd Annual Carpenter Casino Night in 2027 after raising over $95,000 at our inaugural event this past June
• Continuing our Heart & Leadership Scholarship program, with 2027 applications opening soon
• Launching a youth athletic sponsorship initiative, beginning with sponsoring one student-athlete per year in an MMA training and competition program through Dan Martinez’s gym in Tampa, Florida
• Continuing support for veterans, including donations to organizations such as the Warriors Fund
• Contributing to cancer-related causes, including efforts supporting the fight against stomach cancer
• Expanding local and national quarterly giveback events to deepen community engagement
• Adding dedicated operational and marketing support to help manage, grow, and promote the Foundation’s programs, partnerships, fundraising efforts, and community outreach

We are committed to honoring Shane’s legacy by growing thoughtfully and sustainably. As we look ahead, we remain open to partnerships and initiatives that align with our mission and values. If you have ideas or would like to collaborate, we would love to hear from you.
